Members of the European Parliament, please support Free and Democratic Iran
- Not to endorse the electoral coup d’état of June 12, 2009 by Not recognizing Ahmadinejad as the elected Iranian president.
- In particular, to set up, as soon as possible, a European Parliament delegation to go to Iran to be aware of the situation regarding the fundamental freedoms.
- To claim the freedom of political and opinion prisoners in Iran.
- Asking the Members of the European Union to take all necessary restraints to protect the performers of civil society in Iran in accordance with EU guidelines on the defenders of Human rights.
- To adopt targeted restraints against the organizers of the suppression in Iran, especially by using the "Visa Ban” procedure.
- To request for a Parliamentary Commission of Enquiry on the attitude of Nokia-Siemens consortium for the sale of monitoring devices to trace and follow cell phone and internet users in Iran.
- To suspend all sales to the Iranian government concerning any weapons or means used to repress the opposition, especially by applying the guidelines of European Union on weapons’ exportation.
- To help and promote the democratic experiences and activities of Iranian people.
